Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice traditionally practiced in the position of Savasana. It is a means to rest the body and mind without being in the state of actual sleep.
You may lie on a bed, or on a mat in Savasana using pillows for comfort. You may also lie on your side or sit fully supported with pillows if you'd like to. Make yourself comfortable- perhaps a blanket to keep you warm.
I have two Visualizations for you to try-"Night Amongst the Stars...." ( approximately 5 minutes) and At the Beach (under 5 minutes) as well as 4 scripts which run approximately 28 to 34 minutes long each -'Getting Back....' ,'Letting Go-Relax', 'Letting Go-original version', and 'Post_surgery_healing_...'(new).
Please consult with your Health Practitioner before starting something new.
Please note iPhone and iPad users-You will need to download and use Chrome from the app store in order to download and play scripts and visualizations--our apologies for the inconvenience.
